The Fishers Volunteer Fire Association and the Fishers Fire Department is made up of a combination of career and volunteer firefighters and support personnel dedicated to protecting the Fishers Fire District. As a Volunteer in the Fishers Volunteer Fire Association, you will find yourself in an active and friendly environment, where you can discover your capabilities. With our commitment to training, and strong sense of community, you'll be proud to wear the Fishers uniform.

We realize that firefighting is not for everyone, but believe that volunteering can be. There is plenty of work to do at fires and emergencies, as well as behind the scenes. A strong fire department needs individuals who want to become firefighters and those who want service in other ways, such as learning to drive and operate fire appartus, learning basic and/or advanced first-aid, and provide other services to help ensure public safety. We also have other medical and administrative positions to be filled. Find something of interest and Fishers Volunteer Fire Association and Fishers Fire District will provide training.
